Our client an engineering design and build company based in Kettering are looking for a Finance & Accounts Manager to join theirteam.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Overseeing all financial control activities, including the review & analysis of monthly & quarterly numbers and disclosures. Providing management team with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide effective policy making and financial strategising.
- Preparing monthly reporting for France. Providing external auditors with the necessary documentation and support. Taking care of tax preparation duties / liaising with external accountants for tax preparation. Preparing income statements, balance sheets and other financial documents. Supervising the internal accounting team. Overseeing other aspects of financial operations such as bookkeeping and payroll management
- Preparing Cashflow Reports. Preparing Monthly Sage Supplier Import Spreadsheet. Preparing month end & mid-month pay runs and upload to the bank. Checking costings to ensure invoiced correctly
- Liaise with funders for finance opportunities. Monitoring and tracking customer payments. Ensure overdue payments are chased. Process & Reconcile incoming payments. Reconcile Bank statements. Process EU invoices in Sage. Compiling monthly payment/€uro exposure data for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
- Checking and matching C88 statements from HMRC, request relevant paperwork as required. Prepare a monthly aftersales report to ensure Sales orders and jobs are invoiced out. Reconcile supplier accounts against Sage. Any other duties as required

- Excellent Telephone Manner
- Experience in Sage 50 Accounts
- Level 3 AAT Qualifications
This Role is office-based Monday to Thursday 08.00Hrs to 17.00Hrs & 08.00hrs to 14.00hrs on Friday.
