Finance Team LeaderKettering£36,000 - £40,000Monday to Friday We are looking for a Finance Team Leader to have overall responsibility for the day-to-day financial processes of an SME Food Company in Kettering. You will work cross-functionally to deliver precise management information that supports budgeting, financial planning, and process enhancement and will report directly to the Director.Daily duties will include:

• Overall responsibility for the Finance team
• Overseeing and maintaining accurate and timely financial records, including but not limited to – general ledger, accounts payable/receivable and payroll
• Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Reconcile bank accounts and control accounts
• Assist with year-end closing alongside the Director
• Monitor daily cash flow and ensure availability of funds for operational needs
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Provide financial insights and reports to assist with strategic business decisions

Experience required:

• AAT qualified or part-qualified in ACCA or CIMA
• Previous experience within Accounting and Finance and supervising a small team, preferably within a SME business
• Proficient with Xero and Excel
• Strong knowledge of UK Accounting Principles and Financial Regulations
