About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has opened to join our clients catering team in Kettering. We are looking for a Catering Service Assistant who is passionate about food and customer service. This is a Monday to Friday role, ideal for those seeking work-life balance while gaining experience in a dynamic environment. You will work alongside a friendly team, ensuring a great customer experience in the cafeteria or restaurant setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Serve customers in a polite, friendly, and efficient manner, ensuring all interactions are professional and positive.
Team Collaboration: Work as part of a close-knit team, contributing to a smooth and efficient food service operation.
Basic Food Preparation: Assist in simple food preparation tasks, helping the kitchen team when necessary to maintain the high standards expected.
Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure the kitchen, service areas, and restaurant are kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Cash Handling & Promotions: Operate the cashiering system efficiently and assist with vending services. Participate in and promote unit sales and special offers to enhance customer engagement.

Have excellent people skills, able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues alike
Be passionate about providing outstanding customer service and enjoy engaging with customers
Work well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and support to colleagues

Requirements:
Previous Experience: Experience in a similar catering or food service role is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
Transport: Due to the location of the site, having reliable transport is essential.
