Recruit UK is looking for a Case Handler to join a distinguished wealth management firm based in Kettering. Renowned for its professionalism in wealth management and financial planning, this firm is dedicated to building lasting relationships with clients. You’ll be acting as the primary contact for the Mortgage Advisers and contact for Clients.

Key Tasks:To provide a professional level of administrative support to the Mortgage advisers.To process mortgage and protection cases ensuring they are fully compliant.

Main Duties:

  • Open and distribute the post (stamp dating if necessary) and scanning it on the database on a daily basis.
  • Frank and be responsible for the Royal Mail post including taking the post to the post box on a rota basis.
  • Answering the phone taking messages and passing on as appropriate.
  • Answering the door and greeting any visitors to the building, making sure that all visitors comply with any site regulations. Preparing refreshments as necessary.
  • Book appointments for advisers in Google diary.
  • Liaise with Mortgage providers and clients to ensure the smooth processing of mortgage applications through to completion and chasing where necessary to avoid delays.
  • Liaise with Insurance Companies and the clients to ensure smooth processing of protection business chasing where necessary to ensure policies are in force as appropriate.
  • Produce suitability letters for protection cases as appropriate.
  • Keeping the company database (Intelligent Office) up to date, ensuring that all tasks allocated to you on the system are reviewed daily.
  • Ensure registers and logs are kept up to date and reviewed on a regular basis.
  • Take responsibility for dealing with client emails and any 'issues’ in order to achieve a satisfactory conclusion.
  • Communicate with colleagues on compliance matters as they arise, and highlighting any areas of specific interest.
  • Assist with any administrative or office based tasks as deemed appropriate.

Skills needed:

  • Previous experience as a mortgage/protection administrator is essential
  • Use of Intelligent office back office system is desirable.
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Organisational Skills.
  • Teamwork.
