We are seeking a skilled FLT Operative to join our team at DS Smith Sheetfeeding. In this role, you will be responsible for safely handling large pallets of cardboard, operating gas-powered FLT trucks, and providing essential support to the loading team.

- Pay:12.69 per hour, Overtime (over 8 hours and Saturdays): 19.04 per hour, Sundays: 25.38 per hour
- Location:DS Smith Sheetfeeding, Cromwell House, Latimer Park, Burton Latimer, Kettering, NN15 5YZ
- Job Type:Full Time, Contractual, initially 3 months with the view for extension
- Shifts:40hours in a week,Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4 pm, with possible early starts and overtime as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pallet Handling: Safely move large pallets of cardboard using a forklift truck (FLT).
- Shrink Wrapping: Securely wrap pallets for storage and transportation.
- Loading Team Support: Assist with general loading and unloading tasks.
- Roll Clamp Truck Operation: Train to use a roll clamp truck and its attachment to support reel stores (training provided).
- Gas-Powered Truck Use: Operate gas-powered FLTs (conversion training can be arranged if necessary).
Essential Requirements:
- Valid counterbalance FLT license (official body certification preferred).
DesirableRequirements:
- Experience with roll clamp truck operations (training provided if necessary).
