Position: Hygiene Operative
Location: Kettering
Shift: Night Shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) Days: 5 days out of 7 (including weekends and holidays as required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform deep cleaning of walls, conveyor belts, machinery, and floors in a freezer environment.
- Ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard, following strict hygiene protocols and health and safety guidelines.
- Operate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Conduct routine inspections of cleaning equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Work as part of a team to ensure the hygiene standards across the facility are consistently maintained.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hygiene or cleaning roles is essential, preferably in a food production, manufacturing, or similar environment.
- Comfortable working in a freezer environment.
- Ability to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and be flexible with working days.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks.
