Adecco Kettering are recruiting for a Mortgage & Protection Case Handler to join a well-established Independent Financial Advisory company based in Kettering.

Role Overview:

To provide a professional level of administrative support to the Mortgage advisers and to process mortgage and protection cases ensuring they are fully compliant with all requirements.

Location: Kettering (office based)Salary: £27k Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 9am - 5pm (Monday - Friday)Start Date: May 2025

Key Responsibilities:

  • Open, sort, and scan mail into the system, and handle post duties (including taking mail to the post box).
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and pass them on.
  • Greet visitors, ensure they follow site rules, and offer refreshments when needed.
  • Schedule appointments for advisers using Google Calendar.
  • Work with mortgage providers and clients to ensure smooth processing of mortgage applications, and follow up to prevent delays.
  • Communicate with insurance companies and clients to ensure policies are active, following up when necessary.
  • Create suitability letters for protection cases as required.
  • Keep the company database (Intelligent Office) updated and review daily tasks.
  • Maintain and regularly check registers and logs.
  • Handle client emails and resolve issues to reach a satisfactory outcome.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on compliance matters and highlight any important issues.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and office duties as needed.
  • Participate in seminars and events organized by the company.

Key Competencies:

  • Previous experience as a mortgage/protection administrator
  • Use of Intelligent office back office system is desirableProficient within Micosoft systems such as word/excel
  • Excellent communication Skills; Phone based/email & face to face
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own
  • Time Management, Prioritisation Skills & Self-Motivated
