Carbon60 are currently looking for a Night Shift Stores Operative to join a client of ours based on the Weetabix site in Northamptonshire. We are looking for someone on a temp to perm basis.
Working Hours/Shift Pattern:
- Night shifts, 6pm - 6am (no flexibility on working hours), 4 on, 4 off, 12 hours on site, 1-hour unpaid break, 44 hours paid per rotation
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Serve engineers in stores departments on manufacturing plant at Weetabix, to aid customers colleagues as required
- Provide parts, book in/out on onsite systems
- Store stock/parts as requested
- Update customers CMS system as needed
- Resolving issues for non-stocked parts - (provided with a list of telephone numbers and organized via main distribution center in Oldbury - training provided)
- Stock checks
- Manual labor in role - heavy lifting within H&S requirements and finding parts in stores
- Role responsibilities will progress once in permanent role
Training will be provided in this role in the period mentioned in the working hours above on the specifics on site, using the customer systems, learning the parts stocked etc., foundational skillset required to adapt to the role.
Essential skills / experience / qualifications:
- Essential that candidates demonstrate a can-do attitude, willingness to use their own initiative and take an active role in training and development provided, show enthusiasm
- Previous warehouse/stores experience applicable from various contexts
- Competent IT Literacy skills for MS Office and data entry on ERP digital systems
- Highly competent customer service and communication skills
- Active full UK driving license is essential
(A company van is provided; to use for travel between Weetabix Burton Latimer and Corby sites in the event a part is stocked there and not at Burton Latimer to get required parts as needed)
