Are you an experienced Site Agent with a passion for civil engineering and infrastructure projects? We have an exciting opportunity to work with the Canal & River Trust, overseeing projects along the M40 corridor between the Midlands and London. This role offers a competitive rate of 500 per day (Inside IR35).



Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage construction activities along the canal and river network.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest health and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Manage site teams, ensuring effective communication and smooth operations.
  • Monitor and report on progress, managing any risks or challenges that arise.


Essential Requirements:

  • SMSTS certification (mandatory).
  • Proven experience as a Site Agent on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Familiarity with projects within waterway or environmental contexts is advantageous.
