Rate: 500/day (Inside IR35)
Location: Along the M40 (Midlands to London)
Required Certifications: SMSTS
Are you an experienced Site Agent with a passion for civil engineering and infrastructure projects? We have an exciting opportunity to work with the Canal & River Trust, overseeing projects along the M40 corridor between the Midlands and London. This role offers a competitive rate of 500 per day (Inside IR35).
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage construction activities along the canal and river network.
- Ensure all work is carried out to the highest health and safety standards.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
- Manage site teams, ensuring effective communication and smooth operations.
- Monitor and report on progress, managing any risks or challenges that arise.
Essential Requirements:
- SMSTS certification (mandatory).
- Proven experience as a Site Agent on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Familiarity with projects within waterway or environmental contexts is advantageous.
