We are looking for aSoftware Operations Managerto drive our engineering team forward, manage resources effectively, and oversee quality control processes.

In this role, you will be pivotal in recruiting and developing talented software engineers, guiding our Systems Administration team, and enhancing our processes and methodologies.

What will you be doing?

  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new software engineers, promoting a culture of collaboration and mentorship.
  • Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure resource capabilities meet current and future project demands, aligning team skills with growth targets.
  • Ensure adherence to quality control processes, refining these as needed, and produce KPI reports to track and drive improvement.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices, guiding the team in making informed technical decisions.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in software development, ideally with 5+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge of Postgres databases
