Role: TEST TECHNICIAN

Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire, UK

Salary: Up to 24,000 pro rata

Hours: 22.5 hrs per week, flexible working hours


We have a part-time vacancy for a Test Technician to work in our clients furniture testing department. This role
is part-time with flexible working hours to be agreed.

Responsibilities


As a Test Technician you will be required to carry out the following:
* Preparation and conditioning of furniture prior to testing
* Testing and assisting with physical testing of mattresses, cabinets, tables and
seating to British, European and international standards
* Maintain cleanliness of laboratory areas including assisting others with moving
furniture samples
* Planning and agreeing testing schedules with customers and Head of Furniture
* Completing and maintaining training records


Successful candidates will be required to have the following


* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Good computer skills - word & Excel
* Able to work to deadlines
* Be able to follow instructions accurately & have a good attention to detail
* Demonstrable experience of organisation and planning skills
* Good time management and scheduling skills
* Ability to work alone or as part of a team
* Flexibility, tenacity and a 'can-do' attitude
