Administration/Credit Control AssistantKetteringHours - Monday to Friday full time (Office based)Salary circa £25kOur Kettering based client is recruiting an Administration/Credit Control Assistant on a permanent basis.  Working as part of the Finance Team this role will encompass a variety of administration duties.The main area of involvement will be Credit Control together with more general clerical and administrative duties such as:
  • Answering customer queries via telephone or email
  • Processing of customer account applications
  • Customer account maintenance
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting
  • Cash posting
  • Bank reconciliations
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and the candidate will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by their changing role and/or the overall business objectives of the company.Candidates should be prepared to develop and demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
  • A high standard of numeracy and accuracy
  • PC literacy and proficiency with the use of MS Excel and Word, SAP experience would be preferred but not essential
  • Effective communication both internally and externally
  • Participate as a ‘Team’ player not solely as an individual
  • Capable of organising and prioritising workloads to meet company deadlines
  • Flexible approach to working and learning
  • Reliable, dependable and conscientious
