You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of a company's fleet of vehicles. This role involves coordinating vehicle maintenance, repairs, fuel management, and driver compliance. You will work closely with drivers, maintenance staff, and other departments to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation of the fleet.Benefit:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Track and manage maintenance costs.
  • Ensure compliance with vehicle safety regulations and standards.
  • Monitor fuel consumption and costs.
  • Implement fuel-saving strategies.
  • Manage fuel cards and fuel records.
  • Coordinate driver training and compliance with driving regulations.
  • Track driver performance and conduct performance reviews.
  • Manage driver records and documentation.
  • Analyse fleet usage data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement strategies to reduce fleet costs and improve efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with vehicle suppliers, maintenance providers, and fuel suppliers.
  • Prepare and analyse fleet performance reports.
  • Track key metrics such as fuel efficiency, maintenance costs, and vehicle utilisation.

**Additional Skills (Preferred)**

  • Bachelor's degree in transportation management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Certification in fleet management or logistics.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet management or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fleet management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driving licence.
