Due to continuous growth, our client is now looking to add a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to their busy engineering team. The Role:
· Minimise production downtime, by carrying out routine scheduled maintenance (PPMs) and respond to unplanned breakdowns with the stipulated timeframes.
· Ensure that production operations maximise output and minimise downtime safely through regular planned maintenance.
· Work on an array on fabrication, cutting, pressing, shot blasting & spraying equipment
Respond to unplanned breakdowns in a timely and effective manner, working alongside engineering and production colleagues to minimise disruption.
· Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns
· Carry out all work according to Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, SOPs, Dynamic Risk Assessments and company policies and procedures.

The Requirements:
· Mechanical Bias preferred
· Previous experience as a mechanical maintenance engineer within Plant, Manufacturing, FMCG, Moulding would be advantageous
· Relevant qualification or time served engineers (over 10 years experience for time served / City & Guilds / NVQS)
· A good understanding of hydraulic & pneumatic systems would be advantageous
· Open for training & development
