This role is located in the Kettering area and involves working on a Panama shift pattern of days and nights from 7 AM to 7 PM.
Candidates should have a time-served background in Electrical Engineering and possess qualifications such as HNC, ONC, HND, or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
Experience in FMCG engineering is preferred, along with skills in PLC fault finding and a strong emphasis on safety and compliance during maintenance activities.
The engineer will be responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance, diagnosing faults, and implementing improvements to minimize downtime and ensure high operational standards.

Our leading food manufacturer with sites situated across the UK is looking for skilled Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer to support the Engineer Manager inreactive and planned maintenance and ensure high standards are met. You will be diagnosing faults, identifying problems on machinery, and implementing solutions.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Preventative, planned and reactive maintenance

Identify and highlight potential equipment failures

Perform maintenance activities safely and in compliance with safety regulations.

Respond promptly to breakdowns and resolve issues to minimize downtime.

Use problem-solving techniques to effect repairs and resume productionquickly.

Identify and implement improvements in plant and equipment.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Time-Served Electrical Engineering
HNC/ ONC/ HND / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
FMCG Engineering Background Preferred
PLC Fault finding
