Location: Desborough
Salary: Up to 39,000 per year
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with an alternating schedule including one Saturday per month, followed by a Friday off

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Work alongside a team of 5 engineers to ensure the maintenance and electrical repairs of plant machinery, packaging machines, printers, conversion machines, and ancillary equipment.
Contribute to the day-to-day and long-term engineering needs of our company.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance systems for the site.
Maintain ISO compliance in collaboration with the quality department.
Minimize downtime and resolve breakdowns promptly.
Respond promptly to on-site machinery breakdowns.
Collaborate with engineering management and fellow engineers to efficiently resolve breakdowns.
Lead a team of maintenance engineers during your shift.
Adhere to strict health and safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
Attend relevant training and courses to further your professional development.

Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance engineer in packaging, manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar industry.
Proficiency in both mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs, with a preference for an electrical bias.
Previous experience in repairing and fault finding.
Understanding of automated processes (desirable).
Relevant electrical/mechanical qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQs, or time served.
Willingness to learn, share best practices, and attend training courses as needed.
