Company Administrator - Permanent - based in Burton Latimer, NN15

Job Purpose:

Our client is recruiting a highly organised and detail-oriented Company Administrator to join their team in Burton Latimer. This full-time position offers a great opportunity for career development. The ideal candidate will oversee product ordering, coordinate shipments, manage supplier relationships, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role is perfect for a proactive team player with strong administrative skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ordering products from both overseas and UK manufacturers.
  • Liaising with the UK warehouse regarding shipments, deliveries, and returns.
  • Monitoring costs and sales for products to ensure profitability.
  • Regular communication with factories regarding quotations and new product details.
  • Working closely with management to align with future sales plans.
  • Collaborating with the Office Manager in managing client and supplier relationships.
  • Creating and processing purchase orders and contracts for manufacturers.
  • Ensuring all regulations and certifications are in compliance with the requirements of different countries.
  • Working closely with factories to ensure all orders meet Quality Control standards.
  • Coordinating with shipping companies and clients to book goods onto cargo vessels.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc duties, including warehouse stock management.

Person Specification:

  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • IT literate, particularly proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to take on a variety of tasks and priorities.
  • Calm and collected under pressure, able to handle tasks without getting flustered.
  • A self-motivated, organized, and proactive individual.

Hours of Work:

  • 8am - 4pm (Monday - Friday) can be flexible for the right person
