Our Kettering-based client, a leading provider of specialised services in water utilities and petrochemicals, is looking for a passionate and proactive Team Leader to join their team.Our client is a trusted name in the industry, focusing on media refurbishment works within water utilities and petrochemicals. Known for their strong commitment to quality, safety, and innovation, they pride themselves on delivering top-tier solutions tailored to client needs.About the Role...As a Team Leader you’ll play a crucial role in managing contracts across sites and ensuring projects run seamlessly. Flexibility and a hands-on approach are key, as you’ll balance office-based responsibilities with time on the ground, collaborating with site teams and stepping into operational tasks when needed. Experience is valuable, but a positive attitude, strong aptitude, and willingness to learn and grow within the role are what truly set candidates apart.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage on-site contracts, ensuring all health and safety protocols are met.
  • Oversee daily activities of site staff and contractors, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate seamless project execution and ensure delivery on time and to standard.
  • Monitor project progress and report updates to senior management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of contracts and site activities.
  • Provide guidance, technical knowledge, and support to staff as needed.
  • Be flexible and willing to engage in operational, hands-on tasks to support the team when required.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and strong aptitude for learning are essential.
  • Experience in managing contracts and understanding health and safety is beneficial but not a deal breaker.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and team members.

  • A full UK driving licence is required.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills:
  • Telehandler certification.
  • Knowledge or experience in the water utilities industry.
