Dedicate Recruitment is working in partnership with this growing Trust seeking a dynamic and robust Site Manager, working across two school sites.
Leading a team of four staff, the Site Manager is responsible for the security of the premises, all health & safety compliance, maintenance and cleaning of both sites, situated in close proximity of each other.
The Site Manager is accountable for:
- Acting as a designated key holder, providing out of hours and emergency access.
- Responsible for regular health and safety checks of buildings, grounds, fixtures and fittings, including compliance with fire safety regulations.
- Developing and implementing the annual long-term maintenance requirements to support a cost-effective maintenance programme.
- Regular checking and operation of systems such as heating, cooling, lighting and security.
- Arranging tenders and quotes and manage the appointment of external contractors ensuringwork is completed to the required standard.
- Management of the site and grounds team ensuring a prompt and efficient service is provided at all times.
- Providing formal training on health and safety issues to other staff.
The successful Site Managerwill hold GCSEs in English and Mathsand qualified to NVQ level 3/4 in a relevant qualification such as NEBOSH orCOSHH. You will be highlyexperienceddelivering and managing a facilities maintenance programme, liaising with and managing external contractors,ideally within an educational or multi sitesetting. Confidently leading a team in delivering an efficient and high-quality level of service, you will bringoutstanding communication and interpersonal skills,be flexible, highly motivated and self-reliant.
