Salary on offer:The salary on offer for the successful Mechatronics Engineeris £25,000 - £45,000 per annum. The role:The successful Mechatronics Engineer will play a pivotal within the company’s specialist engineering in which the role suited is to a Mechatronics Engineer with good foundation in both electronics’ hardware and mechanical design, at Graduate/Junior level or Mid-level. The Mechatronics Engineeringrole will revolve around the design and development of customer solutions that integrate both electronic and mechanical elements in their design. The successful candidate may have a preference towards either discipline for Electronics Hardware or Mechanical, but a practical appreciation of both is needed.Mechatronics Engineer Key Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field
  • Graduate engineer or 1-2+ years relevant professional experience
  • Experience on designing Mechanical components and/or assemblies, ideally in SolidWorks
  • Knowledge of electronics hardware engineering (analogue & digital electronics circuits)
  • PCB Design & Schematic Capture - Ideally with experience of Altium
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems
  • Time management and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Desirable nice to have skills:
  • Experience supporting Electronics and Mechanical designers as part of a larger team
  • Experience of planning and managing own projects
  • Experience of working for a multinational company
  • Experience of working with customers and suppliers
