Product Design Engineer
Our client, a market leader in the engineering sector, are looking for an experienced Product/Project Design Engineer to join their growing team.
You will be providing engineered design solutions for new and existing company products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing detailed manufacturing drawings from 3D models (SolidWorks).
- Creating and managing BOM’s within company ERP system.
- Ensuring that all designs produced are fit for purpose, meet regulations and support efficiency of manufacture.
- Creating and maintaining product specific technical documentation.
- Continuous improvement of current products.
- Project execution for standalone products, liaising with clients and other departments ensuring brief is met for the project.
- Ensuring that assigned contracts are undertaken to achieve customer satisfaction, within both cost estimate and timescales.
You must be a skilled Design/Product Engineer with experience in sheet metal and fabricated product design. Ideally you will have experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD but training will be given where required.
