Are you a PV Designer looking to join a leading provider of industrial and commercial refurbishment services across the UK, who are looking to expand into the renewable energy sector in what will be a brand new role for the company?
Do you want to join a company who have very ambitious growth plans over the next few years with the new PV Designer role being instrumental to this? You will have a very autonomous role and be seen as the go to figure for all things PV Design.

As PV Designer, you will be responsible for designing solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for commercial and industrial clients. This role is crucial to the expansion into renewable energy, and you will have the opportunity to shape the future of the firms solar division.
This role would suit a PV Designer experienced in designing commercial or industrial solar PV systems with proficiency in PV design software
The Role
- Design commercial and industrial solar PV systems, including layouts, stringing, and electrical configurations.
- Perform site assessments and feasibility studies to determine optimal solar panel placement.
- Develop detailed technical drawings and schematics using industry software
The Person
- Experience in designing commercial or industrial solar PV systems.
- Proficiency in PV design software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD).
- Strong knowledge of UK solar PV regulations and grid connection requirements.
