An exciting opportunity awaits a motivated and skilled Audit and Accounts Senior / Semi Senior to join a leading and rapidly growing accountancy and business advisory firm, listed in the Top 100 Accountancy Firms. This role offers a chance to make an impact within a dynamic Corporate Services team, delivering high-quality audit, accounting, and business advisory services across sectors including education, agriculture, non-profit, and property development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver audit and account services, supporting clients with compliance, planning, and ad hoc projects
- Review and prepare client accounts, tax, and VAT work, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Conduct audit assignments both remotely and on-site
- Engage in technical audit, accounting, and taxation compliance for corporate clients
- Offer value-added services by identifying and communicating opportunities for additional support
- Supervise and coach trainees, overseeing assignments and ensuring quality work
- Use software tools like Xero and CCH to support complex client queries and prepare tax returns
- Engage in networking activities and assist with client seminars
- Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified (or part-qualified), or AAT qualified
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a practice environment, with cloud accounting software (such as Xero) preferred
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, computer literacy, and a quick-thinking approach to account preparation
- Personal Qualities: Exceptional communication skills, proactive attitude, high confidentiality, resilience, and a knack for networking
- A valid UK driving license with access to a vehicle for client travel
