We are looking for a Senior financial accounts assistant to join our client who is a successful player in the financial industry. This is a full time permanent job opportunity paying 5,000.00 per annum with an excellent career growth opportunity ahead.

Purpose of Position:
Join our dynamic Accounting Services team as a Senior Financial Accounts Assistant. Your primary role will be the timely and accurate completion of financial transactions for a defined portfolio of clients, ensuring exceptional service and precise financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Processing:Efficiently handle VAT, payroll, purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank transactions, and month-end reconciliation and adjustments.
- Review & Mentorship:Oversee and review the work of team members, providing mentorship to Financial Accounts Administrators and Assistants as needed.

- Attention to Detail:Maintain accuracy in all financial transactions.
- Deadline Management:Meet deadlines effectively while managing conflicting priorities.
- Effective Communication: Communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Interpersonal Skills: Interface confidently at all levels within the organisation.
- Team Support: Collaborate and support colleagues effectively.
- Customer Service Excellence: Commit to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Reliability: Be a dependable and trustworthy team member.
- IT Literacy: Proficient with essential IT tools and software.

Experience and Skill Requirements:
- Literacy & Numeracy: Strong skills equivalent to GCSE 5+ in English and Maths.
- MS Office Proficiency: Basic knowledge and experience with MS Office, especially Excel.
- Qualifications: AAT Level 4, CIMA or ACCA trainee, or qualified by experience.
- Accounting Software: Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage preferred.
- Relevant Experience: At least 3 years in a similar role, covering key transactional areas.
