Accounts Assistant, all round finance role, hybrid working, Kettering, up to 35,000
Our client is seeking an Accounts Assistant to work alongside the Finance Manager within the UK Finance Department.
As the Accounts Assistant, your responsibilities include:
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Bank Reconciliations
- Payroll
- Assisting in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements
- Assisting in monitoring budgets and providing variance analysis.
- Helping prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external audits
- Monitoring and managing expense claims
- Supporting the finance team with ad hoc duties
- Complete ad hoc weekly and monthly reports
The best suited candidate will hold varied finance skills, with Part ACCA or CIMA qualification being an advantage.
Knowledge of Sage 50 is essential, strong communication skills and the ability to work to deadlines and on your own their initiativewill also be looked for.
