Finance AssistantLocation: Kettering Salary: Up to £24,000 Work Arrangement: 2-3 Days in the office per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the purchase ledger, including invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, and query resolution.
  • Manage daily tasks such as bank statement imports, credit card payments, and cheque processing.
  • Input journals into ERP systems and provide monthly departmental financial reports.
  • Assist in month-end tasks and provide general support to the Finance Team Leader.
  • Offer basic absence cover for other team members and take on ad hoc finance tasks as required.

What You'll Bring:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs experience is advantageous)
  • A hands-on, results-driven approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Sage 50, or similar financial software is a plus.
