REED are currently working in partnership with a secondary school based around the Corby area, supporting them recruit a full time English Teacher to start from January 2025.  

The Ideal Candidate will:- Hold a UK QTS- Have relevant, recent experience teaching English in a UK school (secondary mainstream or SEN)- Bachelors Degree in English (Language or Literature) & successfully completed PGCE or Schools Direct- Have experience planning and marking-Have a strong and competent understanding of the English national curriculum- Be able to confidently teach both English Language and English Literature- Have experience teaching and supporting children with special educational needs- Be available for full time English teaching positionsThe Job Outlined:- Plan and confidently deliver a range of English lessons to meet the individual needs of each class- Engage learners with a range of lessons adapting them to appeal to each class- Assess pupil's learning and progress on a regular basis, providing timely and informative feedback- Collaborate with colleagues within the department and communicate effectively- Regularly communicate with parents to discuss pupils progress, outcomes and any safeguarding concerns- Promote pupils positive health, safety and wellbeing
