Opus People Solutions is recruiting on behalf of North Northamptonshire Council for a Administrative Assistant. North Northamptonshire Council is dedicated to enhancing community development through effective planning and enforcement. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Development Management Team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Development Management Team in daily administrative tasks.

- Accurately maintain planning and enforcement records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.

- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence related to development projects.

- Coordinate meetings, including scheduling and preparing agendas and minutes.

- Respond to inquiries from the public and stakeholders regarding planning processes and enforcement matters.

- Manage and organize filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, for efficiency and compliance.

- Assist in the development and implementation of administrative procedures to enhance team productivity.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a development or planning context.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with database management.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks effectively.- Knowledge of planning and enforcement processes is an advantage but not required.
