Security Assistant - Kettering - Term time only - 36 weeks a yearPertemps Aylesbury is currently recruiting for a Security Assistant for our client based in KetteringHours: 40 hours a week Salary: £24,500 (pro-rata) 8am-4:30pm term time only The post will provide support to the Estates management team, by promoting a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all staff.Duties:- To complete routine patrols of the assigned campus to ensure the maintenance of good order in the premises, and to monitor behaviour on site. This includes internal and external patrols.- To respond and assist with different types of emergencies; first aid, fire alarms, bomb alerts, floods, and gas leaks.- To report any damage or defects found on any site either internally or externally on the online request system.- To respond to reports of intruders on site and other crime-related incidents. T- To undertake first aid training and be a college first aider.- To be responsive to the personal radio system and to react responsibly and efficiently to calls for assistance.- To deal with disruptive, aggressive, and challenging behaviour and if necessary, remove offender/s- Spot litter pick in buildings/grounds/areas whilst on patrol and challenge persons on site to drop litter in a professional manner.Requirements:- SIA training and licence- Minimum of 1 year experience in security- Experience working with the public- Willing to obtain a basic level of health and safety knowledgeIf you would be interested in this role, then please apply or call Corinne.
