Join B&M Cares St Anns Care Home in Ketteringas Deputy Care Manager and play a pivotal role in supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the home.

Key Responsibilities as a Deputy Care Manager:

  • Assist the Manager in efficiently and compassionately running the home.
  • Supervise staff and work in a direct care capacity on a day-to-day basis.
  • Report directly to the Home Manager or their appointed representative regarding all performed duties.
  • Assume managerial duties in the absence of the Manager, ensuring the home operates to high standards and meets regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of appropriate training for staff.
  • Have designated responsibility for the ordering, recording, administration, and disposal of the home's medication system.
  • Contribute to maintaining adequate staffing levels and the correct staff mix.

Essential Skills, Characteristics, and Experience:

  • Must hold at least an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
  • Experience in dementia care.
