Job Title: Social Worker in Children in Care Team

Location: Northamptonshire

Salary: Up to £42,620 plus a £4,000 recruitment bonus

About the Role: As a Children's Social Worker at Northamptonshire Children's Trust, you'll join a supportive learning culture where you can influence change, challenge others, and share your expertise. You will work within our Children in Care Team, overseeing all children in care in Northamptonshire, including those subject to legal proceedings and those with long-term care plans. Your focus will be on building meaningful relationships with young people, their families, and their carers to ensure effective future planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct clear and accurate assessments.
  • Coordinate multi-agency approaches.
  • Build positive, strength-based relationships with children, young people, and families.
  • Deliver purposeful and effective social care supported by experienced colleagues and managers.

About You: You will be an experienced, qualified, and registered social worker who has completed your ASYE, with a commitment and passion for best practices in supporting children, young people, and families. Demonstrated experience in working with looked-after children is essential.
