Are you passionate about shaping young minds and making a difference in the early years of education? We are looking for a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a independent nursery.

About the Role:

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the learning, development, and well-being of children in a Early Years setting based in Kettering. Working closely with teachers and other staff, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the teacher in delivering engaging and creative activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

  • Assisting with the social and emotional development of children, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Helping to set up and maintain a safe, clean, and inviting classroom space.

  • Observing and recording children's progress, contributing to assessments and planning.

  • Supporting children with additional needs, where required.

  • Engaging with parents and carers to build strong, supportive relationships.

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.

  • A recognised childcare or teaching assistant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ, or equivalent).

  • A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach.

  • A strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
