Berry Recruitment are looking for a manager for a well established health and fitness club and huge sports complex in Kettering to start as soon as possible.

We are looking for an experienced Manager to lead operations, drive membership growth, and ensure exceptional member experiences.

You will oversee the operations of a state-of-the-art sports centre that includes 12 badminton courts, 4 squash courts, a comprehensive health club with a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and a fully equipped gym. The facility also hosts large-scale sports events, tournaments, and exhibitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Lead, manage, and develop a diverse team of fitness and administrative staff.
  • Manage budgets, financial performance, and facility maintenance.
  • Drive member engagement, retention, and acquisition through strategic programs and marketing.
  • Enhance and expand fitness and sports programs to meet member needs and industry trends.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and manage facility risk.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a management role within sales, sports, fitness, or hospitality industry.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
  • Strong knowledge of sports centre operations, event management, and health club facilities.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in using management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Passion for sports, fitness, and wellness, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
