Your new companyYou will be joining a well established architectural firm that has a number of offices throughout the UK and employs well over 50 people. This company operates on a very busy and varied portfolio, with projects in the industrial and commercial, education, residential, sports, leisure, arts, science and research and healthcare sectors. They are looking for a talented Architectural Technician that can come in and hit the ground running.Your new role

  • Create detailed architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details.
  • Use software tools like AutoCAD and Revit to produce accurate and precise drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Incorporate safety measures, accessibility requirements, and environmental considerations.
  • Collaborate with architects during design development.
  • Attend site visits to assess progress and address technical issues.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Relevant degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of construction methods and materials.
