We are assisting in recruiting for a MET Technician at their Kettering location. Both qualified and unqualified candidates will be considered if experience is from a very similar position/background. You will be re-assembling and dismantling damaged vehicles in line with repair estimates. Duties as a MET Technician:

Ensuring vehicle stripping and rebuilding is carried out successfully
Performing quality checks
Following suitable methods
Providing supervision to other colleagues
Meeting estimated timeframes
Advising on any additional work required
Ordering suitable parts to perform the repairs
Liaising with other internal departments
Meeting customer satisfaction standards
Following health and safety regulations and company policies
General ad-hoc duties relevant to the post

Skills:

Experience in a MET Technician position
Qualified in Automotive Technician Accreditation (ATA) or qualified by experience
Excellent communication skills on all levels
Strong organisational skills
A natural relationship building ability
The ability to multi-task and act quickly
A good knowledge of Health and Safety procedures

To be successful as a MET Technician you will be proactive, with a keen eye for detail and able to prioritise tasks. In return you will receive a salary between £38,000 to £45,000 per annum, plus performance bonus with potential earnings taking you up to £55,000, working Monday-Friday. Apply today!
