About the Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for performing a wide range of repairs, diagnostics, servicing, and occasional MOT testing (if qualified) on various vehicle makes and models. You'll work in a fast-paced, well-equipped workshop with access to ongoing training and support to help you stay at the top of your game.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting vehicle service, diagnostics, and repairs to high standards.
  • Liaising with Service Reception and Workshop Control to ensure smooth operations.
  • Occasionally interacting with customers to offer technical insights and expertise.
  • Staying updated on product knowledge and new technologies.
  • Upholding excellent customer service standards to build customer loyalty.
  • Maintaining a tidy and organized work area and adhering to all necessary documentation requirements.


What We're Looking For

  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Motor Vehicle Service & Repair (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a dealership or independent garage environment.
  • MOT License: Preferred but not essential.
  • Driving License: A full, valid UK driving license is required.
  • Attributes: We value candidates who are organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working well under pressure. Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic are essential.
