About the School:

We are delighted to be working with an Ofsted 'Good' rated specialist provision school, dedicated to providing a tailored national curriculum to meet the needs of every child. They are looking to appoint a Sports Coach & Teaching Assistant to join them on a temporary to permanent contract. The school is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere, ensuring each student's unique interests, needs, and learning styles are supported. • Engage and motivate students who have become disengaged with their learning through the medium of sports.
  • Model and maintain high standards of behaviour.
  • Build strong relationships with students to encourage active participation and motivation.
  • Support the team in preparing students for life beyond school, equipping them with the skills necessary for independence.
  • Lead dynamic and engaging sports sessions that encourage students to develop new skills and enhance their well-being.

Key Requirements:

  • Understanding of Autism (experience is desirable but not essential).
  • Knowledge of vocational education is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills, resilience, and patience.
  • Ability to model positive behaviour and encourage student engagement.
