Job Title: Graduate Quantity Surveyor

Are you a recent graduate eager to launch your career in Quantity Surveying? My client are a leading civil engineering contractor within the Nottinghamshire area and are looking for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join the team. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, developing key skills in cost management, procurement, and contract administration.
Responsibilities:
·Assisting in cost estimation, budgeting, and tendering processes
·Supporting the preparation of contracts and procurement strategies
·Assisting with client negotiations across various forms of NEC, JCT, and bespoke contracts
·Conducting site visits and liaising with clients, contractors, and suppliers
·Assisting with valuations, variations, and financial reporting
·Ensuring projects remain within budget and meet financial targets
·Developing skills in risk assessment and cost control
Requirements:
·BSc in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (2:2 or above preferred)
·Strong numerical and analytical skills
·Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
·A proactive and eager-to-learn mindset
·Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant software
·Full UK driving licence
