About Us:
Our client is a well-established and growing company who are currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Management Accountant to join their well established Finance team at their Kidderminster site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Flow Management: Oversee daily cash flow analysis, create weekly cash flow forecasts, and coordinate with various teams.
  • Month-End Accounts: Play a vital role in the month-end accounts process, including journal postings, analysis preparation, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Manufacturing Financial Support: Collaborate with the production and supply chain team to provide financial analysis that enhances manufacturing efficiency.
  • Stock Management: Oversee monthly stock counts, input data, and analyse discrepancies.
  • Fixed Asset Management: Ensure accurate recording and maintenance of the fixed asset register.
  • VAT Returns: Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and on time.
  • IT and Project Support: Assist with IT projects and handle daily financial tasks as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Essential: CIMA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience: Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Proficiency in all finance-related tasks in an SME, strong organisational and time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to plan workload effectively.
