Quality Engineer

Up to 44,000 per annum

Kidderminster

Metalis are working with an established company based in Kidderminster who are actively seeking a skilled and time served quality engineer to join their team.

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify quality issues, develop and implement corrective actions, and support process improvements across production lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain quality control systems.
  • Conduct internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure quality at all stages.
  • Knowledge of basic measurement tools and quality inspection techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience working in a foundry is beneficial but not essential.

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or relevant field.
  • Strong understanding of quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
  • Experience in manufacturing or engineering environments.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Pay and Hours:

Monday - Friday, 39 hours per week.

Up to 44,000 DOE
