Overview
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Design Engineer Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality engineering solutions, ensuring that all designs meet the required specifications and standards. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles, as well as proficiency in various design software and tools. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Managing design team, working closely around timelines and efficiencies

Developing new SOPS

Developing Solidworks system and operation of PDM

Skills development within the departments

Product development R&D

Working in line with senior management to drive and push the department forwards

Skills

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software is essential.
  • Experience with LabView for data acquisition and instrument control is advantageous.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems and components.
  • Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in design engineering is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in root cause analysis scenarios.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications accurately.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members across various departments.
