R&V is urgently hiring Class 1 Drivers for reputable companies with responsibilities including DPD driving and shunting trailers.
Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of driving experience and flexibility with start times, including early AM, PM, and night shifts.
The position offers ongoing work, weekly pay, and 24/7 on-call support for drivers in a friendly environment that values skill development.
Essential requirements include a National Insurance Number, UK driving license, and the right to work in the UK, along with a good level of English.
The job emphasizes adherence to health and safety regulations, completion of paperwork, and achieving fuel efficiency targets.

R&V is URGENTLY hire Class 1 Drivers for well known and respected companies.

Responsibilities:

DPD driving

Shunter (move trailers in parking lot)

Flexibility is key

1 year experience (minimum) is a Must.

*Early AM start times/PM start times/ Night start times

Job Description:

Induction

Shunting - moving trailers

Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork.

Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene.

Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department.

Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive.

Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times

Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure

Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery

Achieve and succeed fuel efficiency targets set by the business

Any other duties as reasonably required

Essential Requirements:

National Insurance Number

1 year experience (minimum)

Right to work in the UK

UK driving license

Good level of English

Flexibility in starting times
