Location: Kidderminster
Salary: £47,000 + Excellent Overtime Scheme

Role Overview - Maintenance Engineer:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will focus on breakdown elimination and preventative maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of automated machinery and robotics across the site. The role will be technically challenging but highly rewarding, with opportunities for personal development and career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, production improvements, and project work across various automated systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults on several types of machinery.
  • Gain exposure to a wide range of machinery, including robotics.
  • Perform fault-finding on PLCs at both the input and output levels.
  • Collaborate within a 12-man maintenance team to improve operations and equipment efficiency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and take ownership of individual projects.

Essentials:

  • An apprenticeship and relevant qualifications in engineering (electrical).
  • Previous experience working in an engineering or manufacturing background.
  • Knowledge and experience working with machine tools is advantageous.
  • Experience in risk assessments and safe working practices.
  • Proven problem-solving skills in breakdown maintenance.
  • Preventative maintenance experience.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety standards and safe systems of work.
