Admin/Stores AssistantLocation: WorcestershireEmployment Type: Full-Time, On-Site, Temp-perm We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation operating within the waste-to-energy sector, currently seeking an Admin/Stores Assistant to support their busy facility in Worcestershire.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience and excellent organisational skills to join a fast-paced operational environment. This is a full time position working Monday-Friday based at their office onsite and will be a immediate start. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the reception area during peak times and handle incoming calls, visitors, and post.
  • Process purchase orders, invoices, and maintain accurate finance records.
  • Handle the transfer and logging of invoices and weighbridge tickets.
  • Maintain the site induction register and assist with health & safety administration.
  • Monitor and order stationery and consumables.
  • Update and manage the site’s CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System).
  • Check and log deliveries to the stores against delivery notes.
  • Provide support during audits and major maintenance periods (including CDM projects).
  • Offer cover for the Technical Admin as required.
What We're Looking For:Essential:
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Computer literate, with knowledge of CMMS and purchasing systems.
  • Reliable and proactive with strong attention to detail.
Desirable:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a power generation or heavy industry environment.
