Pertemps is seeking a skilled Powder Coater to join our client on a Temporary to Permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about quality finishes and eager to work in a dynamic environment. As part of the paint line team, you will ensure that the application of powder paint meets the company's high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate powder coating equipment.
- Manually apply powder paint with precision, ensuring a controlled and even finish.
- Efficiently operate automatic powder reciprocators.
- Load products onto the overhead conveyor, minimizing line gaps.
- Test and adjust pre-treatment fluids according to required specifications.
- Pack and securely wrap finished products for dispatch.
- Accurately log production operations using the company's FMS platform.
- Maintain strict quality control throughout all operations, adhering to company procedures.
- Report any issues related to equipment, quality, safety, or operations to the team leader.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management.
Requirements:
- Proven ability to apply powder paint to achieve a consistent and uniform surface coating.
- Strict adherence to PPE and safety equipment protocols.
- Flexibility to rotate tasks with team members to ensure continuous production.
- A proactive approach to learning and training in company operations.
- Ability to perform frequent bending, stretching, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
