A welcoming and supportive school in Kidderminster is urgently seeking 3 experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team, working with students who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism, Trauma, and Anxiety. These are long-term, full-time positions (5 days per week).

Key Responsibilities:

Support children on a 1:1 and small group basis to help them engage with their learning
Implement individualized learning plans and adapt strategies to meet students' needs
Provide emotional and behavioral support to help students develop coping strategies
Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and other support staff
Help maintain a calm, structured environment that promotes the well-being of all students
Assist with personal care where necessary
Essential Requirements:

Proven experience working with children who have SEMH, Autism, Trauma, and Anxiety
Strong understanding of child development and special educational needs
Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to individual needs
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A proactive approach to supporting students both academically and emotionally
Ideally, a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) but not essential
