We are working in partnership with a well-regarded, multi-disciplinary planning consultancy to find a driven and ambitious Town Planner to join their expanding team. Based in or around Kidderminster, this is your chance to play a key role in transforming land, property and rural spaces across Shropshire, Worcestershire, Powys and the wider West Midlands.
From residential extensions to large-scale commercial developments and agricultural planning, you'll be at the heart of unlocking development potential and delivering real impact.

With deep local expertise and a hands-on approach, they guide clients through the full development cycle-from early-stage feasibility and valuation, to planning applications, appeals and land promotion strategies.
Clients include homeowners, developers, landowners, farmers, and commercial investors seeking to realise the full value of their assets.
What You'll Be Doing
Providing expert planning advice on residential, commercial and agricultural developments
Preparing and submitting planning applications, appeals, appraisals and evaluations
Advising on land promotion strategies and development potential
Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders and clients
Conducting site visits, valuations and feasibility studies
Staying up-to-date with local and national planning policy changes
About You
Degree qualified in Town Planning or a related discipline
MRTPI qualified (or working towards it)
Strong knowledge of UK planning regulations and local policy frameworks
Experience in rural, agricultural or mixed-use planning projects is a bonus
Excellent communication and report-writing skills
Comfortable managing clients, deadlines and planning processes with minimal supervision
Based in or willing to travel regularly across the West Midlands region
