The Client

Based on the outskirts of Kidderminster this well established company is increasing their Maintenance team by the addition of a new shift pattern due to continued growth within their business.

The Role

As Maintenance Engineer you will adhere to daily and weekly scheduled maintenance checks to ensure the site operates smoothly, be involved in the scheduling of internal works to maximise planned downtime therefore reducing unplanned downtime. This role will assist in the development of a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule and ensure that this is carried out along with the introduction of new machinery and equipment whilst disposing of the obsolete. The successful applicant for the position of Maintenance Engineer with be a clear communicator, be able to liaise with ease and communicate with other departments and suppliers, attend meetings as required and produce reports which will include costings.

The Candidate

The successful applicant for the role of Maintenance Engineer will be multi skilled to include strong knowledge of engineering concepts, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, be exceptional organised and have follow up skills. You will be capable of taking direction, working alone, working within a team and be self-motivated. You will have experience of working in a similar role and must be willing to work a shift pattern.
