A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a UK known manufacturer in the Somerset Area!

With no day ever being the same the Maintenance Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • PPM and Reactive maintenance
  • Faulting finding and repairs
  • Program Siemens & other programmable logic controllers (PLC's)
  • Install and maintaining all electrical & electro-mechanical plant equipment or machinery
  • Promote lean thinking and strong health and safety standards across the site

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Experience and knowledge of PLCs (programmable logic controllers)
  • HNC or HND qualification
  • 17th / 18th edition qualified
  • Diagnostics experience of electrical motors and pneumatics
  • Apprenticeship trained - desirable
  • Experience working in a automated industry
