Maintenance Engineer (Weekend Nights)

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.  

Orion is partnered with a fast-paced, heavy industrial manufacturing company located in Kidderminster. We are recruiting for a confident and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong understanding of Hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Duties:

• Reactive maintenance of medium & heavy plant machinery – CNC, Die casting machines, mills, compactors pelletizers, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, sensors, relays etc..
• Work from engineering drawings
• Machinery installation & commissioning
• PPM’s
• Line improvement tasks
• Fault finding using PLC’s
• Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Required Experience :

• CNC Machine tool knowledge and experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance of production machinery
• Machinery installation
• Machinery commissioning
• PPMS & Reactive maintenance in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
• Mechanical and/or electrical qualifications from a recognised body
• NVQ level 3 or BTEC L3 or equivalent
• Electrical fault-finding skills
• PLC experience
• Machinery maintenance (PPM’s and reactive)
• Both mechanical & electrical machinery maintenance
• FMCG or heavy industrial machinery experience
• Continuous improvement projects
• Strong communication skills

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Shifts:  Weekend Nights 34 hours per week & paid breaks 

Friday 6pm – 6am

Saturday 6pm – 6am

Sunday 6pm – 4am
